The Vocational School of Kumluca
The school is located in Kumluca district, which has a population of 72,000 and is located 100 km west of Antalya. Kumluca hosts some of the most popular historical and touristic centers in Turkey and the world, such as Olympos Ancient City, Olympos Bay, Rhodiapolis Ancient City, Adrasan Bay, Sulu Island, Gelidonya Lighthouse, and Karaoz Bay. Kumluca is considered as the center of greenhouse agriculture (protected agriculture) in Turkey, and the production of oranges and lemons is also prominent in the region.
Kumluca Vocational School was established by the Senate decision numbered 1105 on 21.06.1996, and it started education and training with the Greenhouse Farming Program in the 1997-1998 academic year. It continues its education and training with four programs, namely Accounting and Tax Applications in the 2000-2001 academic year, Business Administration in the 2003-2004 academic year, and Horticulture in the 2010-2011 academic year.
Our Vocational School continues its education in its 7000 m² building located in the center of Kumluca. In the School building, there are:
11 classrooms,
3 amphitheaters with a capacity of 150 people each,
4 technical laboratories (Plant Protection Laboratory, Soil and Plant Nutrition Laboratory, Horticulture and Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory, Soil Science Laboratory)
Computer laboratory,
Meeting hall with a capacity of 150 people,
2000 m² application greenhouse,
Library,
Cafeteria and
Student Canteen and other service offices

Our Vocational School has a strong academic staff with 8 teaching staff in the field of agricultural sciences (1 Associate Professor, 1 Assistant Professor, 3 Lecturer (PhD), 3 Intructor) and 5 teaching staff in the field of social sciences (4 Lecturer (PhD), 1 Instructor).
